As you made your way to the Russian Erotic Museum in Saint Petersburg today, I hope you did your best not to let Jenny tail ya’. Many a spy would follow those that would seek a glimpse of the great Russian holy man Grigori Rasputin’s holy business, and it is indeed an oddity that is hard to keep under wraps. When my character of Tatiana, a young ad executive in Manhattan, gets ahold of the legendary relic through family ties, it changes her in ways she could not have foreseen. Mainly it’s because the old rapscallion’s ghost is still attached, and he has some mesmerizing and manipulation on his mind. Read my brief and terrifying blog of how I wove this illuminated tally whacker into a novella that I hold out hope of publishing, over at the Labyrinth Project. 4 out of 5 Urologists recommend it.
My latest hot Merch from Eighth Tower Books out of Italy is the tribute anthology to master Lucio Fulci’s Death Trilogy of horror films, THE BEYOND. I have a novelette in this one so you can really get emerged in it. SON OF NO ONE is at once a character study and itself a nerve-jittering search for a serial killer in 1970’s New York City, featuring hedonists, psychics, nosy reporters, serial killers and Satanists, it’s a nail biting dive into adult supernatural noir. Narrated by a street-wise character from New Yawk back in the day, readers may think I have lost my mind.
Leading the cast is Fulci’s heroine of comely psychic Mary Woodhouse, who was portrayed by Fulci regular Catriona Maccoll, from his 1981 shocker, “City of the Living Dead.” This was the groundbreaker that treated its viewers to a man’s head being skewered by an electric drill, amongst other delights. My story contains dozens of Fulci and “City” Easter Eggs for the ultra-rabid fan.
Featuring all-new terrifying tales by: B. E. Dantalion, Glynn Owen Barras, Sarah Walker, J. Edwin Buja, Richard Alan Scott, Andrew Coulthard, John Chadwick, David Voyles, Michael Housel, David Agranoff, Anthony Trevino, Nora B. Peevy.
We have much to discuss. You can get the book, Hardcover, Paperback or Ebook at this purchase link:

New England Horror Writers Association is proud to present their 8th Anthology of the finest writing this side of Route 95 in “WICKED CREATURES” a compendium of uncomfortable tales designed to keep you up at night, starring the greatest array of shadows, ghosts, monsters and nightmares ever to enter your consciousness. We have beasties that fly, bite, scream and kill and is there nary a person that can intercede?
For sixteen years I have submitted and longed to be included in this bi-annual amalgam of warped sensibilities, but have been left crying in my pillow along with hundreds of other members of the cold-climate creators club here in the far reaches of this town we call America. Bucket-list achievement unlocked! And speaking of crazy thoughts, I warrant that you may just enjoy my meager contribution “The Quality of Mercy” a supernatural smackdown between Rhode Island’s own horror luminary HP Lovecraft and the little seen but always feared Mercy Brown and her whole VAMPIRE clan. It’s a showdown for the ages and you’ll experience it in the weird master’s own testimony, Lovecraft himself.

Moore, Kristi Petersen Schoonover, Cindy O’Quinn, David Bernard, Rob Smales, Victoria Dalpe, Katherine Silva, Errick Nunnally, Richard Alan Scott, Morgan Sylvia, Trisha J. Wooldridge, J. See, in Boston we say “wicked” a lot. Get it? Dig it? I knew that you would.
Rasputin is my favorite character in all of history, and the fall of the czarist Romanov dynasty and subsequent Bolshevik revolution my favorite time and place in all of history. There’s just something about a crude, hedonistic guy who also communicates with the Blessed Virgin, predicts world shaking events, AND performs miracle healings that can turn several dozen ladies’ heads, and not because they’re possessed. In the Labyrinth Project Creators Journal we discuss his spirit hovering over a novella I have written and how he figured into my wayward thoughts. Enjoy the brief, fun Journal that thousands have read and spit out their coffee over!
