A VAGUELY CONCRETE PLAN

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO RISING COVID STATISTICS. HAVE A SAFE HALLOWEEN !!!

This notion has the ability to turn into a concept and go from highly unlikely to entirely possible. I will be at the heretofore mentioned extravaganza participating in the jubilacious booklaunch of The New England Horror Writers upcoming, prestigious Anthology of otherworldly and monstrous tales:

“WICKED CREATURES”

which will henceforth and for all time in the quantifiable universe contain my unnerving tale of H.P. Lovecraft participating in a gruesome smackdown with the certifiable Mercy Brown Rhode Island Vampire family.

I am extremely certain that this event may contain no less than readings from said anthology as well as the breakout of an Author Signing spree including cuddles and masked kisses for all.

If…It…Happens! Time to be determined so stay tuned to this frequency for updates or cancellations of this tentative appearance should it manifest itself.

As the WHO shouted in Magic Bus, there are times and things that we want and will eagerly push ourselves to attain. In this Labyrinth Project Creators Journal we talk about ambition as a writer. Where are you in the need for some attention and a taste of success? Sometime I can’t relate to my fellow writers because I find myself chasing ambition more than others; it’s in me, it’s in me. I have even written in the guise of famous writers of the past without hesitation. Join in reading the brief and thoughtful blog others call “Henry.”

THE OLD FACTORY GLAND

Woonsocket, Rhode Island, my home city, is a place steeped in the history of the Industrial Revolution. There, when graduating high school, people went to work in one of its dozen mills. For me, the lure of manual labor came at times in my life when I could no longer handle white collar bullshit, and I wanted just to keep my head down and work with my body, uninterrupted, minus the chit chat and the games. Also, the ancient and dank surroundings lent themselves well to my SciFi story “Tuesday Night’s Pick.” This is the subject of my latest Labyrinth Project Creators Journal. Incidentally, for those interested, Woonsocket has probably the greatest museum dedicated to this topic and its history, The Museum of Work and Culture. On a nice day, take a ride and avail yourself of this wealth.

Got another story for the forthcoming book anthology dedicated to the “Gates Of Hell Trilogy” by Lucio Fulci (Eighth Tower Publishing). An original and delicious noir/horror tale by #RichardAlanScott, who set the story in a late seventies New York populated by psychics, serial killers, detectives and ghosts, and full of homages to the Lucio Fulci characters of the trilogy. Details coming soon.
