My latest Labyrinth Project Creators Journal continues the dissection of a piece I penned for my first writers’ group, that involved my Mother’s untimely death when I was fifteen, and subsequent wonder about visits from the beyond. The whole thing leads to some ersatz advice from a writing “mentor,” hahahaha.
Since my latest Labyrinth Project Creators Journal went up yesterday, I’ve had the most moving outpouring of support and kindness that I’ve experienced with my blog to date. This one centers around a non-fiction piece I did to satisfy an assignment in my very first adult Writers Group. The “story” consisted of a reminiscence about the death of my Mother when I was quite young, and how often since I’ve felt I was being contacted by her from the spirit world.
